Born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Frank received his PhD from the University of Wisconsin in 1972. He taught at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, settling in East Aurora. According to Frank, the village is “a great place to raise a family—which we did! Three boys.”

Frank finds inspiration in the mountains. When he'’s not in church, you just might find him outdoors —perhaps on an extended wilderness canoe or backpacking trip. Or maybe training for a triathlon.

Frank earned his MDiv in 2003 from United Theological Seminary’'s extension program, which allowed him to continue teaching at SUNY Buffalo while completing his degree. He helped found Pathways Christian Fellowship in the summer  of2006. Said Frank, “I see Pathways as an opportunity to follow God’'s call on my life— to bring the Good News of Jesus to everyone.”
